I also forgot to post pictures of the chillis I grew last summer! I'm so proud! we also grew capsicums, spring onions, tomatoes, lettuce and flat leaf parsley! The basil I attempted to sew from seed only produced one plant and I sewed my strawberries too late - I got lovely plants but no fruit :(

Anyhow I dried the chillies because I had so many fresh ones I didn't have the capacity to cook with them all. I dried them by leaving them on a baking tray by the lounge room window in the sun. They took about 2 months to dry. I have heard the best way is to place them on a dish above or near a hot water cylinder but ours in concealed behind a brick wall so I didn't have that option!
